Over the years we have had a couple of stallions standing at stud however our preference will always be artificial insemination utilising both chilled and frozen semen. It’s not only a cost effective method, but also reduces transmission of bacterial infections, increases fertility, and reduces the possibility of injuries to both stallion and mare.

We had used Wilson’s Equivet Australia in the past but this season we have used Brent Eastwell of TFD Equine Veterinary Services for AI-ing both of our mares with both frozen and chilled semen. All follicle testing and insemination for chilled semen is done on our premises, and mares for frozen semen are transported to TFD Equine Veterinary Services for insemination.
